He walks, he bites
So...if you're in charge of a baby during 24 hours (7 days a week!) and he's finally sleeping his afternoon nap, you would (choose one):
a) cut his fingernails (because they're the longest they've ever been since he was born and you finally found his scissors, which you were hiding from him in the first place)
b) cook and then eat (since you don't even remember if you had your lunch anyway)
c) blog
I will let you guess which one I chose :)
Today was a fun day ... I think I will mark the calendar as the official day when 'Fabi gave his first steps'! A couple of days ago, MasalaDad (Ishan) and I witnessed Fabi's vey FIRST step. It was a very small and quick step...I guess you can call it a 'practice step'. The next day, Fabi did the same thing but this time he managed TWO quick steps and then MasalaDad witnessed THREE of them. Today I was lucky enough to see him walk FOUR steps and I'm very sure that if he continues at this pace, he will be running a marathon by the end of the year. I tried to capture some walking action on video and all I managed was this 7-second video of two steps. Good enough!
Fabi and I went to 'Center One' (Vashi's Mall) today and while we waited for MasalaDad to pick us up, he managed to make a few friends charming them by waving 'bye-bye'.

Fabi has been a late teether, but I expected his lower 'Central Incisors' first and then the upper ones. But today I have a little mark on my right hand (near my thumb) that clearly shows the work of Fabi's upper 'Lateral Incisors' --- they look like tiger teeth!
Update:
* As I was re-reading this post I realized I used the expression 'cow's milk'. Why didn't I just say 'milk'? Maybe to indicate that Fabi's weaning out of maternal milk?...or maybe I've started to use 'Indian English'? You see, some people here also drink buffalo milk, so it's common to indicate the type of milk you 're refering to.

That video was soooooo cute!!! So Fabi will now start walking round the house in no time!! Raunak ( Rahul and Chinar's baby ) has become very naughty after he has started walking! Whole day Chinar has to run behind him ! She has lost almost 5 kgs due to that in 2 months or so!!
