HAPPY HOLI!...
Holi is the annual Hindu spring festival. It's celebrated in a very colorful way.
This picture shows a couple of water guns and some colored powders that I bought on the first year I was in India. People of all ages participate. They mix the colors with water and fill water guns or ballons to throw at each other. I kept the colors in transparent salt shakers and used them as decoration. Notice that each colored powder comes wrapped in a piece of newspaper.
This morning some neighbors came specifically looking for MasalaDad. Here's a picture of the outcome:

Hey looking at the snap I am sure that Ishan has thoroughly enjoyed Holi! I sm sure Fabi must not have recognized Ishan after the makeover!! Next time me and Rajeev will come over at your place and put colour on you! Its so funny , we live so close by , related to eachother and still don't meet even once in a month! But I am happy that atleast we are intouch through eachothers blogs! By the way I met Shanteshree the other day when we had gone to Vaibhav Uncle's house for dinner. My parents ahd come over and they wanted to meet Vaibhav Uncle. Me and Swati Aunty were discussing about our blogs then!!
We enjoyed learning about Holi Festival and Ishan's colorful picture shows throught his big smile that he had a great time.
