My Birthday in India

This year my birthday celebration started one month earlier (Oct. 13th), when I received a birthday greeting from Kiran...my friend and former Patni colleague. She inspired me to have a month-long celebration. Since then, I have received two awesome birthday cards, some coffee-paper writing set and a really cool Costa Rican (souvenir) t-shirt.

This year I would have never thought I would spend my birthday in India. That just goes to show you that life is full of surprises!

This picture was taken on my birthday (morning). I'm playing with Fabian and his new toys that keep him busy when we are at his uncle's home.

India en fotos

Fabian is visiting his birthtown after 2 years and 4 months. Lots of things have changed in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I feel right at home! It's nice...and weird at the same time! Follow us in pictures.

Memories on my wrist

Not that I have that many jewels, but I finally went through (most) of my jewel boxes and came up with many charms. I separated them into three groups: the golden ones, the silver colored ones and the religious ones.
Each group of charms was turned into a wonderful bracelet. You might remember my talented friend, Maribel. Thanks to her, I don't have to keep my charms hidden in a box, but I can enjoy all the memories that each one of them brings me. Most of them have been gifts, others I got as a souvenir from some place that I have visited and others represent a milestone of my life (like high school graduation). I absolutely love this idea!

Finally Election Day in USA! - Updated (Again!)

Obámanos! :)

Wanna watch a funny video? (Watch it 'til the very end...)

Update:
I woke up Wednesday, Nov. 5th at 4:50am to get online, I checked my e-mail, changed the black ink cartridge on my printer, checked today's bus schedule. At 5:30 am (German time) I read the headline:
Obama wins U.S presidential election. I like to remember where I was when history is taking place.

CHECK THESE PICTURES OUT!
